Campus Tours

1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Campus tours will be available for those who want a one-on-one look at our new building, updated facilities, and a general overview of our beautiful campus. Each tour can be tailored to specific areas of interest or generalized so our friends and alumni can see everything CCC-Columbus has to offer. Tours will be guided by current students, faculty and staff.

Tours will be Friday (1:00 – 4:00 p.m.) and Saturday (11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.)

Tours can be set up in advance by calling Kathy Margheim at (402) 562-1257.

CCC will be partnering with the Columbus Area Chamber of Commerce for a Business After Hours networking event for CCC Alumni and friends, students, faculty, staff, and Chamber members. Complimentary appetizers and refreshments will be provided.

Family Fun Day & Burger Lunch

11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.

Family Fun Day & Burger Lunch: A fun time for all, enjoy learning more about CCC – Columbus while enjoying some sweet treats and lunch on us.

Virtual reality game, cotton candy & snow cones, nursing simulators & activities, fire safety & activities, welding simulator, and many other fun activities.

Raider Basketball vs Southeast CC

2:00 p.m. & 4:00 p.m.

It’s GAME DAY on the Columbus Campus!  Raiders will face Region 9 foe, Southeast Community College at 2 pm and 4 pm in the Raider Fieldhouse.  Admission is free!  Go Big Green!

2 p.m. Women’s Basketball Game at Raider Field House- Free admission for everyone. Southeast Community College at Central Community College-Columbus

4 p.m. Men’s Basketball Game at Raider field House-Free Admission for everyone. Southeast Community College at Central Community College-Columbus. 

Orders for Alumni Weekend Central Raider Apparel can be picked up on February 25 during the basketball games at the Concession Stand.

2023 Athletic Hall of Fame

6:00 p.m.

The Central Community College Athletic Hall of Fame will add three individuals and one team during induction ceremonies on Saturday, Feb 25, 2023. The event will be held at the Columbus Innovation Center, 1365 24^th Ave., and begins with a social hour at 6:00 p.m. followed by the induction at 7 p.m.

Registration for this event is now closed.

The 2023 inductees include:

• Lindsay Larson
• 1999-2000 Men’s Basketball Team

Sunday, February 26

Band Concert & Fine Arts Showcase

3:00 p.m.

Wrap up your Alumni Weekend activities with a music concert and art display.  Come listen to the Central Community College Band under the direction of Dr. Krista Connelly-Vazquez perform in the Fine and Performing Arts Theater.  The concert will include musical selections accompanied by projected art.  Also, tour the works of art produced by CCC students before and after the concert that will be displayed in the building.
